Browsing through the shops, sitting on the lawn, watching a movie, or eating at one of the restaurants at City Centre in Spring Branch is one of my favorite pastimes. This outdoor shopping center, which opened in 2010, is a great place to eat a cozy meal or get a head start on your holiday shopping.

Let’s Go To The Movies

If you love going to the movies, you need to add Studio Movie Grill to your theater list, stat. While you’re watching a movie, you can devour delicious food and drinks. They also have specials on Tuesdays, where movie tickets are only $6. Enjoy a variety of food and drink specials, including their $6 House margarita Mondays and $5 dessert Thursdays.

Let’s Go Shopping

If you have shopping on the brain, you’ll find plenty of options. I love pretending like I can afford the furniture at West Elm. Then, usually leaving Anthropologie with a candle or jewelry. At Sur La Table, you can shop for dining ware and also sign up for a cooking class. Browse their directory for more shopping inspiration.

Let’s Go Out To Eat

If you’re looking for elevated pub food, then check out Yard House. The Daily Gather is my new favorite place for brunch or dinner: try the mac and cheese or their french toast. Bellagreen is a great choice if you’re looking for healthy options. Their Home Slice pizza is one of my favorites in Houston.

Do you have a place or neighborhood I should feature in this section? Let me know.
