The sun isn’t scorching; it’s under 100 degrees and it rained a few days ago. What does that mean? It’s starting to feel a little bit like fall in Houston! Although we may not get to wear a real sweater until November, we can visit places like Dewberry Farm to get us into the fall spirit. This Brookshire farm offers pumpkin patches, crafts, rides, farm animals, and a corn maze to enjoy. Let’s go!

During The Day Fun

For family and kid-friendly activities, check out the farm on weekends starting this month until the end of October. You can say hello to their barnyard animals such as their pigs, peacocks, goats, and bulls. If you’re craving delicious food, then try their pizza, roasted corn, turkey leg, or funnel cake. For the adults, they also have a wine and beer garden, where you can watch your favorite fall sports on the televisions. If you’ve always wanted to get lost in a corn maze, then head to their 8-acre Astros-themed maze. Finally, try out their Ferris Wheel, Slide Mountain, or jumping jacks. Once you’re all done, paint a pumpkin to take home.

During The Night Fun

Starting next Friday, you can experience Dewberry Farm at night. Get spooked walking their Haunted Hollow’s Trail of Terror. If you’re a fan of “Stranger Things,” take a photo on the replica set. Grab your friends for a night of axe throwing. You can also watch family Halloween movies on their lawn. If you’re a horror movie fanatic, check out their Spooky Stars of Horror to see life-sized lanterns of your favorites.
