New Fast Casual Thai Restaurant in Montrose

Thai Tail, a new restaurant in Montrose, will serve traditional Thai dishes and fusion-inspired food including Crispy Wonton Pad Thai and their Green Curry Pork Burger. The owner of the popular Thai restaurant, Kin Dee, in the Heights, is behind the new eatery. [CultureMap Houston]

Houston Had No Winners At James Beard Awards

Houston had 11 chefs make the semifinalists list for the James Beard Awards, but none of them won the final award at the ceremony in Chicago. Emmanuel Chavez of Tatemó was Houston’s only finalist in the Best Chef: Texas category. [Eater Houston]
