Fusion Restaurant Opens Inside Houston Hotel
Molihua, a restaurant serving contemporary Japanese cuisine, Chinese dim sum, and other dishes, recently opened inside the Medical Center’s Blossom Hotel. Michelin-starred chefs Ho Chee Boon and Hideki Hiwatashi’s new restaurant includes delightful plates such as the Japanese A5 wagyu skewer and the Molihua grilled duck and rice. [Eater Houston]
EaDo Brewery Moving to Bigger Home
The award-winning True Anomaly brewery is moving to a 20,000-square-foot complex in the East End. The new brewery on Navigation Boulevard will feature a larger taproom, a full-service kitchen, and more room for brewing and production. [CultureMap Houston]
Popular Rice Village Restaurant Closing
Prego, a popular Italian restaurant that has served customers for more than 40 years, will close on May 31. The restaurant had planned to move locations, but Prego general manager and operating partner David Cook said the business couldn’t make it work. [CultureMapHouston]
