Summer is almost here and we're looking forward to getting active outside. Here are some of our favorite options for free fitness classes around Houston.

👟 Best Walking Group for Women

City Girls Who Walk Houston hosts weekly walks and popups around the city, and it’s open to women of all ages. Their next walk is Tuesday, May 6 at 6:30 p.m. at Mary Joe Peckham Park.

🏋️ Best Men’s Fitness Group

F3 Houston is a network of free and peer-led workouts open to men of all fitness levels. Their classes are always outside, and their boot-camp workouts typically last 45 minutes. They have multiple locations in Houston.

💪 Best Bilingual Workout Classes

MFAH on the Move hosted by The Museum of Fine Arts hosts free Zumba and yoga classes in both Spanish and English on select Sunday mornings. The next one is May 11.

🧘 Best Mix of Workouts

Head to POST Houston to experience a variety of fitness classes. From line dancing to salsa and yoga to pilates, there’s a class for everyone here.

🌳 Best Outdoor Fitness Classes

Levy Park in the heart of Houston’s Upper Kirby District has a full calendar of fitness classes, including Bollywood and Bhangra dance, Tai Chi, and more.

Discovery Green also hosts free fitness classes within the 12-acre downtown park. Over the next month, try a Hatha yoga or Pure Barre class.
