The proposed megaproject to widen I-45 has been controversial for loads of reasons – including that it would displace many people of color, and destroy historic buildings in Independence Heights. Today, Tanya breaks it down for Lisa, as they are joined by Amal Ahmed, a journalist who's written about the freeway project and who will soon lead a tour focused on its impacts.
